If you thought V had sung their last song, that’s not the case because CD Projekt Red has announced patch 2.1 for Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty. It’s still uncertain what the update will bring, but according to early information, the developers will launch some anticipated gameplay elements. Most people think we’ll get some adjustments and quality-of-life changes, but nothing as big as new quests or vehicles. Still, the studio has surprised us a lot this year, so we’ll have to wait and see.

On December 1 at 4 p.m. CET, you can tune in to the company’s official Twitch channel to watch the new Redstreams that will reveal the contents of this patch. It’s been revealed that this update will arrive alongside the game’s Ultimate Edition on December 5.

If you didn’t know, this version includes the base game and the highly acclaimed Phantom Liberty expansion, meaning it is the perfect way to experience this RPG. Regardless of its state at launch, this title has come a long way, and people are eager to get even the most minor update to get a new excuse to revisit the streets of Night City.

While we won’t get any other significant updates or expansions, that doesn’t mean the series ends. We all know the studio is working on a new The Witcher title, with most of its workforce focusing on it. As for Cyberpunk 2077, we’ll have to wait a bit more to learn the plan for the sequel, but hopefully, patch 2.1 will keep us entertained.
