Dancing With The Stars said goodbye to two contestants in the first elimination of Season 33 this week. The first elimination is usually hard for the cast, dancers, and judges. However, longtime judge Carrie Ann Inaba may not have been sad to see one contestant go. Anna Delvey, known for being a “fake heiress” who went to jail for scamming money, was among one of the first to go after she displayed some surly behavior during her time on the show.
Just moments after being eliminated, Dancing With The Stars co-host Julianne Hough asked Anna Delvey what she would take away from her experience on the show, to which she replied, “nothing.” While Hough played off the comment, Carrie Ann Inaba is sharing her unfiltered thoughts on Delvey’s nonchalant behavior.
Dancing With The Stars Judge Carrie Ann Inaba Doesn’t Hold Back With Comments About Anna Delvey’s Elimination
“I was taken aback by her comment when asked what she learned from being on the show, and she flatly said, ‘Nothing,’” Inaba tells Entertainment Weekly. “That was dismissive not only of the opportunity she was given, of her wonderful and supportive partner Ezra [Sosa] in his debut season.
Also of all of us who work on the show — from the dancers to behind the scenes to the creative team. We all put in the effort to give her a fair opportunity. But I don’t think she could see that and it’s a shame,” Inaba continued. “Gratitude could have changed the narrative.”

As Dancing With The Stars Season 33 rolls forward, it seems that there already some frontrunners and fan favorites. Bachelorette Jenn Tran and actress Chandler Kinney are among two of the highest scoring women. Meanwhile, former NBA star Dwight Howard and Bachelor Joey Graziadei have made waves among the men.
Now that Anna Delvey is out at Dancing With The Stars, Carrie Ann Inaba and her fellow judges will likely be focused on the contestants who look like they want to be there.
