Viewers eager for more info on the second season of Marvel’s differently able hero, Daredevil, have been given a small, but tantalising hint about what to expect;
Alongside Jessica Jones, Daredevil has been a homerun for both Marvel and Netflix, garnering rave reviews. Set in Marvel’s cinematic universe, Daredevil shares continuity with lighter fare like Agents of Shield and the movies. Of course, like Jessica Jones, Daredevil is a much darker show than the rest of the MCU allowing for grim material that would never make it into the mainstream MCU.
The teaser image falls in line with other promotional material, suggesting that the consequences of our hero’s vigilante lifestyle will be landing a little closer to home this season;

Given how many seasons 2 seems to be raising the stakes, we maybe shouldn’t be surprised at the hints that Matt Murdock will end up in the firing line along with his alter ego. With the introduction of iconic (and dangerous) Marvel characters, Electra and the Punisher, Daredevil will likely be in greater physical danger than he’s ever been in. And the trailer hints that Matt may be developing some hesitations about his actions as a vigilante.
Season 2 hits Netflix in all territories on March 18th.
