Dead By Daylight Gets Iron Maiden Cosmetic Collection
While details are still scarce, it is known that the Iron Maiden items will feature Eddie, presumably on survivor characters’ shirts. Fans are hopeful that killers will also receive Iron Maiden-themed cosmetics, with the possibility of The Gunslinger sporting an Eddie-inspired look.
The Iron Maiden collaboration marks another licensed partnership for the hit horror title, adding to its growing list of cosmetic collections. The game has previously featured collaborations with popular franchises such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill. The upcoming Iron Maiden collection draws inspiration from the band’s demonic figurehead, Eddie, which has been a prominent feature in their album artwork.
Iron Maiden Collection Release Date
The Iron Maiden collection was released on February 22, 2024. Fans of Iron Maiden and heavy metal enthusiasts can look forward to displaying their love for the band within the game. More information regarding the collaboration will be shared as it becomes available.
Slipknot May Be The Second Collection
Slipknot, another influential metal band, will also collaborate with Dead by Daylight, offering nine masks for killers based on the band members’ iconic masks. Game director Mathieu Cote expressed the potential for these musical collaborations to expand beyond cosmetics, stating, “It’s not impossible.”
Cote described Dead by Daylight as “a museum of horror” and suggested that the Iron Maiden and Slipknot crossovers could open a new chapter in the game later this year. He emphasized the natural connection between the worlds of metal and horror and expressed the willingness of everyone involved to make the collaboration the best possible.
