There are times when you can come across horrible neighbors who just leave you feeling scared while in your own house. This is why many people opt to have a camera outside their door just to be safe. A Texas couple was lucky to have one as their camera caught a delusional stranger who claimed that they had his dad inside. He kept coming to their house several times and making his claims, which is quite disturbing. Thankfully, the husband was there whenever the guy showed up. Who would know what could have happened if the wife were left on her own? One of the videos posted by the couple shows the guy standing in front of their door and saying things that have no meaning. When the husband came, he let him know that he needed to go. He kept his eyes on him as well until he left.
In another video, the Texas guy is knocking frantically on the couple’s door and saying “Please.” The husband then comes out saying that he can’t be knocking on their door like this. The creepy man then insists that his father is inside. “Can you give me my dad?” he asks the husband who then tells him that he will walk with him to his house. “What about my dad?” he asks. The husband makes it clear that he doesn’t know who his dad is or where he is. The man then says that he heard him talking to his father just now. The wife also clarified in the comments that he wanted to sit down with her husband and make a deal with him to let his father go; terrifying. Thankfully, he didn’t seem to be violent. It’s unclear, though, if this situation would escalate or not.
People Reacting to the Delusional Texas Stranger
A lot of people were terrified on behalf of the Texas couple. After all, it’s not normal that someone would claim that you have their father inside your house. Plus, he seemed completely unstable, especially since he only had socks on. “He needs a mental hospital asap,” one woman wrote. The wife then replied and said, “Cops stated not enough to admit him.” Are they going to wait until something bad happens? Another woman believed that he must have schizophrenia which is why he is acting this way. “My daughter has schizophrenia the ONLY thing keeping her from being like this is her medication I feel bad for him…,” she wrote.
Since some people wanted the Texas couple to be rougher with the guy, one person tried to look at the situation differently. “Hes from the neighborhood. Why do yall want them to be hostile or aggressive with him? Her husband has done the right thing on both occasions. Talk to him. Walk him home. Hes in socks. He must live close by. Give ppl grace,” they said. Someone else had a different opinion as they said, “Who cares if he’s having an episode guys? Are yall really more worried about the guy, randomly knocking on the door, that could become violent because nobody knows him? There’s literally no accountability for anything anymore, and an excuse for everything.” Whether people should sympathize with him or not, what matters is that the family was safe. Let’s also hope that he gets the help he needs.
