Delusional TikToker Dragged Online After Insisting on Going on Trip To Flooded Washington City: ‘They Have Said Don’t Come’

An out-of-touch TikToker? Shocking.

A TikToker who appears to be deeply infatuated with Leavenworth, Washington, has set her mind on traveling there and honoring her trip plans. That wouldn’t be an issue, except for the fact that the city has faced a big storm resulting in floods, power outages, and even a death. As a result, the woman influencer was dragged online.

The TikToker in question, hannahhutson91 (Hannah), shared a recent clip online, confirming that she and her husband would still travel to the Washington State city despite its current status. They’re going ahead with the trip to show support for local businesses this Christmas.

“We need to understand that while there is this huge tragedy that just happened, there also is a town that’s reliant on tourism,” Hannah said. “This is the biggest time of the year for them when they’re making most of their money.”

She explained that if people cancel their trips and do not come to Leavenworth, local business owners will suffer a “big hit” money-wise. Her out-of-touch message didn’t stop there, though.

“I know the weather is not what it normally is this time of year, but I don’t care, I love Leavenworth, regardless,” Hannah said. “I love it in the rain, sun, snow, and if there’s no snow, I’m OK with that. The light show is not happening? I’m OK with that.”

The TikToker concluded her clip by doubling down, saying that she is happy to support small businesses.

A Tragic Storm, TikToker Backlash

As per KOMO News, Leavenworth and Washington State in general are facing the ramifications of the storm. A 49-mile stretch of Highway 2 will be closed down for months, and people have suffered power outages and huge property damage due to the intense flooding. Furthermore, the outlet reported that one person died in Snohomish County.

Governor Bob Ferguson says that HWY 2 will remain closed “for months” due to the multiple stretches that are damaged after storms this past week.

Due to the severity of the storm and its effects in Leavenworth, Hannah’s TikTok, seen by more than 2.3 million people, drew backlash from the overwhelming majority of users who came across it.

“They have said DON’T come,” one user commented. Another one asked, “Why don’t you just donate to them instead of adding burden?” A third added, sarcastically, “Guys! She’s helping by making them serve her during the most difficult time in their lives. What aren’t you getting?“

Hannah has not posted since. Comments, however, continue to drag her for her insensitive and delusional clip. Hopefully, the city of Leavenworth and the rest of Washington can recover from the storm they have faced. The last thing they need is a TikToker farming interactions with their tragedy.
