During the 10th episode of the Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc television anime, it was confirmed that the arc will conclude in the next episode, which will have an extended 70-minute timeslot on June 18. As of now, there is no confirmation of the next season for the Demon Slayer anime. However, with the popularity of the series, one is to be expected very soon. Based on the track record of the series as a whole, the next season should be expected to release in late 2023 to early 2024.
The anime initially premiered on April 9 at 11:55 p.m. JST on Fuji TV with a one-hour special. Prior to the start of the new arc, two specials for the previous Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc anime were aired on April 1 and April 8.

The anime has also received theatrical screenings, which began on February 3 in 418 theaters across Japan. These screenings include episodes 10 and 11 of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc. It also includes the first episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc. The screenings have been shown in theaters in more than 95 countries and territories.
Crunchyroll is currently streaming the anime as it airs. It will also produce English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Hindi dubs for the series. For the new arc, Director Haruo Sotozaki, character designer and chief animation director Akira Matsushima, the animation studio ufotable, and the main cast are all returning.
The first television anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga originally premiered in April 2019. The series was licensed by Aniplex of America and streamed on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block also aired the television anime starting in October 2019.
