Denise Richards’ divorce from Aaron Phypers is far from over. In fact, it’s barreling into 2026 at full speed. The former estranged spouses are officially being shown the door from their LA residence, marking another dramatic twist in their ongoing divorce saga.

It all comes down to money. And lots of it. Recent reports from Star indicate the couple is tens of thousands of dollars behind on unpaid rent, prompting the landlord to take legal action.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge recently signed the request to vacate, leaving both Richards and Phypers with little choice but to move out. The decision is the latest bump in a road that has been anything but smooth and simple divorce for the reality star and her estranged husband.
The home in question was rented in June 2020. While Denise Richards remained on the lease, she moved out two years ago, leaving Aaron as the main point of contact for rent. Court documents claim that Phypers agreed to cover the rent expenses until he vacated the home.
Denise Richards’ Divorce Drama Turns Another Ugly Page
Unfortunately, according to the property owner, they have repeatedly attempted to collect the funds due without success. Most fans know by now that Denise has not had the best of luck with marriage. As most recall, Richards and Phypers’ relationship has been strained to say the least for some time.
They tied the knot in September 2018, but by July of this year, Aaron filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The split quickly escalated, with Denise obtaining a temporary restraining order against Aaron after alleging physical abuse. All claims that he has denied. For now, the divorce remains unresolved, and it doesn’t look as if things will be settled anytime soon.

Despite all the drama and chaos, Denise is attempting to regain control of her life. She agrees it has been emotionally and financially taxing for her, making her day-to-day life even more challenging.
“It’s so hard to go through a divorce,” she said. “This isn’t my first one. I never thought I’d get divorced again.”
The eviction drama only adds to the stress that Denise Richards is under. At the same time, the messy reality of her divorce from Aaron Phypers might make for dramatic reality television. However, it doesn’t bode well for a Happy New Year for Denise.
