Some customers lose their patience over the smallest inconveniences and sometimes, that frustration turns into outright destruction. That’s exactly what happened at a McDonald’s in California when a furious Karen completely lost control.
The video shows her arguing with employees before grabbing handfuls of sauce packets and hurling them onto the floor. The chaos only grew as the clip revealed what sparked her meltdown: unsalted fries. Yes, that was her breaking point.
As one employee filmed the aftermath, the woman stood behind the counter mocking them: “Cry about it and clean it up. Record me, [expletive].” Instead of hiding her identity, she boldly walked up to the camera and announced her name was Desiree.
At this point, you have to wonder do people like this ever learn that behavior like this is a fast track to being canceled?
For some reason, the deranged California woman thought that she would look better if she explained why she behaved like she did. Why did she think that people would side with her when she was doing all of this because they brought her unsalted fries? When the employee told her, “We make mistakes,” she didn’t like this. She even believed that he brought her unsalted fries on purpose. Why would he do that? She then said, “So now when I have an attitude I’m in the wrong? I’m the crazy one?” Yes? I mean, when you try to forcibly open a door, you look crazy. The Karen also gave them the middle finger. Now, if she were identified and got canceled, she would have to live with the fact that all of this happened because of unsalted fries.
People Reacting to the Deranged California Karen
A lot of people found the California woman unhinged for doing all of this over some fries. This is why one person wrote, “All this for unsalted fries? This was fixable and all this was unnecessary.” Another person pointed out how the situation was ridiculous as they said, “mind you all this because of a large unsalted fries.” Someone else believed that the Karen was quite emotional. “She’s on the verge of tears,” they wrote. It would have been more embarrassing if she had cried. Since it’s not rare to see customers losing it on employees, one person wrote, “why are customers so weirddddd bro.” This made someone else reply and say, “they feel power over workers, most human can’t handle power.” Customers aren’t better than workers.
Some people also had to comment on the California Karen’s appearance. Several comments mentioned that she needed Chapstick. “She don’t need salt she need ChapStick,” one person wrote. Another person shared the same opinion as they said, “desireee baby you need to be more worried about where your chapstick at.” A third person then wrote, “Lip Balm and lorazepam, lady.” There were also a few people who wished that the employees had fought her. “Normalize knocking people out,” one comment said. That would have only gotten them in trouble. The Karen would probably face consequences soon, though, now that people know what she looks like and her name. I don’t think she would post an apology video then because she definitely didn’t look like she regretted anything she did.
