I have never seen a cruise that passes peacefully without any fights on it. Honestly, I’ve even seen brawls happening right outside the ships. A new fight took place on a Carnival cruise as a deranged Florida Black group started beating each other up. The man who filmed the video shared that the fight started over some chicken tenders. Why would anyone fight because of that? Apparently, dozens of people were waiting in the food line before the chaos started. In the video filmed of the fight, you see several Black people attacking each other. Men aren’t the only ones involved as some women were in the middle of the fight as well. You can also see some women standing on top of a platform and filming the action. I probably would have done the same.
In the video of the Florida fight, you can also hear a lot of shouting going on. One woman keeps saying, “Oh my God,” while another one yells, “Where is the f**king security?” Well, security guards were there but it didn’t look like they were going to control the situation anytime soon. As punches are flying and people are being slammed to the ground, you can see two security guards standing outside of the huddle doing nothing. One of them simply pulls a guy by his t-shirt only to let him join the fight again. I understand, though, because I wouldn’t want to be in the middle of that fight, either. What made the fight kind of funny was that there was a third security guard who was definitely tired. He took one look at the fight and then clutched his radio and fled the scene. I get that too.
People Reacting to the Chaotic Florida Fight
People found the fight to be simply insane. Unfortunately, since the Florida group was made up of Black people, most of the comments were racist. There were also some comments from Black people who were against what this group did. “I can’t defend my people no more,” one person wrote. One woman also shared the same opinion as she said, “as a young black woman im over us acting like how white people portray us as, we get so offended by it but then we do shit like this. It gets to the point we’re I can’t defend my own people cause of shit like this like cmon yall.” Others found it weird that anyone would react like this over some food. “mind you the food is FREE,” someone said. Another person wrote in disbelief, “The food is free…and always being replenished…?”
Aside from some civilized comments, you could find ones racist toward the Florida group. “Always offended, never ashamed,” one person wrote. Another person said, “the fatigue is real.” There was also someone who wondered how these people have money to go on a cruise, especially since they are behaving like this. “how these people have money for carnival cruise?” they asked. Someone else said mockingly, “No fights ever break out over job applications and work boots.” Of course, some people were shocked at the amount of racism being displayed in the comments. Shockingly, a lot of people defended these racist comments as one person wrote, “Facts is now racism?” People shouldn’t judge an entire community based on how one group acted. The only thing that I want to know, though, is if the chicken tenders were good enough to start a fight over.
