There are so many people nowadays who dare to do things they shouldn’t and then argue that they didn’t actually do those things. Realistically, that’s behavior that a toddler or, at the very least, a little kid would portray when they aren’t getting their way. In Illinois, a woman captured an elderly Karen red-handed when she keyed her car after being annoyed with her parking job. Fortunately, the driver was inside the keyed vehicle when this happened, but can you imagine if she wasn’t?
The above video was shared by @micky92008 on TikTok, who has only ever posted about this particular incident, hoping to bring additional attention to it. Well, it definitely got attention, as it is currently sitting at over three million views.
In the video, an elderly woman can be seen walking up to the car that’s parked next to hers, assess its parking, and then key it. You can tell that she tries to play it off like an accident, while she was just looking at a scratch on her own car. However, it’s clear what she was actually trying to do.
What’s worse is that the moment she is confronted, the Karen has the audacity to say, “No I didn’t.” It’s a good thing that the driver of the Tesla had cameras all around, because who knows if the elderly woman would have ended up telling the truth. It was at this point that the Tesla driver decided to get the police involved.

Commentators were quick to jump in on the conversation, with many people harping on the Tesla driver’s parking job. One of the top comments in this vein said, “all them cameras and still can’t park right ☕️.”
Other comments defend the woman, with another saying, “You did park bad but she had plenty of space. And that was the passenger side anyway.” Fortunately, after the police arrived, it was assessed that the elderly woman did in fact key the Tesla and was forced to pay for the damages.
In another update, the elderly woman was filmed inside a police station having to pay $1025 in cash for the damages. It looks like the woman didn’t have many options, as one of them was to face charges and be arrested for having been filmed committing a crime. Hopefully, she thinks twice before damaging someone’s car in an era of cameras.
