There really is no shortage of Karens in our big year of 2024. A person could be shopping for groceries, walking home from school, or even just walking around the mall and find an entitled Karen complaining about something. Fortunately, some of these interactions are recorded and posted online for everyone to see. That’s exactly what one Reddit user did when another woman decided to throw her cup of coffee at her at a dog park.
The video depicts the point of view of a woman sitting down on the grass at a dog park. She’s sitting by a short wire fence while her dog barks at a woman standing just on the other side. For some reason, the second woman, who we’ll just call Karen, decides that it’s her duty to tell the first about how to take care of a dog like that. It’s very clear that the dog is uncomfortable in the Karen’s presence, so the first woman politely asks her to leave them alone.
This must have triggered the Karen for some reason as she holds her hand up and walks towards where she previously had been sitting on the other side of the fence. The Karen then grabs a cup of coffee that she had with her and tosses it onto the dog owner. The replies quickly try to identify the woman, with the most upvoted comment quite literally having a screenshot of her face.
“Have you seen this person? She’s lost and desperately needs her medication. Last seen in UWS sharing coffee with dog owners. Thank you!”
Personally, I’m glad that it wasn’t me in the dog park dealing with Karen because this article would have been completely different. It’s never made sense to me why some people feel entitled to behave a certain way just because they don’t particularly like something. Though, I do hope she’s apprehended soon, and the internet catches wind of it to embarrass her further.
