A Trump supporter in New York was left shocked after she came face-to-face with a deranged Karen. The Karen, who was described online as a leftist, was upset that the woman was wearing a pro-ICE shirt. It had a picture of the USA flag with the sentence “I like my country how I like my tea filled with I.C.E.”
Based on the video posted by the Trump supporter, the anti-ICE Karen seemed determined to confront her about the shirt, which she clearly disapproved of. The woman, however, had no interest in engaging. She repeatedly interrupted and told the Karen “Bye” several times, but the message did not seem to register. The situation became even more inappropriate considering it took place at a doctor’s office. “You need to stop harassing. I’m at a doctor’s appointment,” the woman said.
Despite it being obvious that the woman did not want to hear any criticism or advice, the Karen continued following her wherever she went. “I just want you to think about it,” she told her at one point. Growing more frustrated, the woman responded, “Leave me alone freak! Stop,” as the Karen refused to back off. For a moment, it appeared the confrontation had finally ended.
However, the second part of the video showed the Karen going inside the doctor’s office and approaching the woman’s mom, escalating the situation further. According to the woman, she was now harassing both of them. “You need to just stop. You need to go,” the woman said. The Karen mentioned wanting to have a conversation, but even if that was her intention, the woman had already made it clear she did not want to talk.
“I don’t need a two-minute discussion with you. It is my right to wear what I want. It is my First Amendment,” the woman said while the Karen kept insisting on speaking with her. At that point, the woman’s mom brought up the police and appeared ready to contact them. The video ended shortly after, though the woman added a caption explaining her side of the encounter. “She could of said I don’t like it like everyone else does. She was nuts coming at in a doctor’s office you cant fix stupid. I will wear what ever I want,” she wrote.

A lot of people sided with the New York woman and believed that the Karen had no right to harass her while she was at the doctor’s office. “Baffled by the audacity of people thinking they are entitled to say anything to another person about their choices,” one person wrote. Another person said, “Wear whatever you want, other people’s triggers are not your responsibility.” This made someone else reply, “Agreed on both sides blue or red. I don’t understand people trying to enforce their rights and beliefs on other people in a free country.” One TikTok user also believed that they wouldn’t have had the same patience if this situation happened to them. “The lord knows not to put me in these situations,” they wrote.
