Cyberpunk 2077 has been updated to version 2.2, which adds numerous customization options, but some players are disappointed. While most fans are happy with this new update, a handful of players complain that their most requested features have not been added yet.

Version 2.2 allows players to change the color of Herrera, Mizutani, Quadra, and Villefort vehicles. Besides making your car unique, this new feature lets players fool the police when they are hunted after performing a criminal action. This move won’t erase players’ wanted level, but at least you won’t need to suffer a car chase when you don’t want to.

While new car customization is the main star of the 2.2 update, Cyberpunk 2077 also adds ten new vehicles that players can purchase on Autofixer. Not only that, but Johnny will also pop up sometimes when you are driving on the road after Act 1. Besides those new additions, the developer has even overhauled Photo Mode, added more character customization options, and fixed annoying bugs.

Update 2.2 for #Cyberpunk2077 is being rolled out on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S!

With this patch you’ll be able to express yourself like never before — whether it’s your appearance, your ride, or your art (aka Photo Mode)! 💇🚗🖼️

This new update is unexpected since many believe CD Projekt Red is done with Cyberpunk 2077 after releasing Phantom Liberty. While most people are happy with the new features, some players expressed their complaints. The most common topic is the lack of a new game plus, which many people highly anticipate. “New game plus please,” one fan commented on the official CD Projekt Red forum.

Other fans also expected the 2.2 update to add a new side quest or explorable areas. One of the most requested regions is the North Oak Casino, which was removed right before the game’s release. Some have speculated that a main mission should have taken place in this area before the developer scrapped the idea.

Another common complaint is the lack of a third-person mode in the Cyberpunk 2077 2.2 update. “All that customization and no 3rd person mode,” one fan commented on X. This feature is the most unlikely one to be implemented, considering the amount of work required to add it.
