Episode: Heresy has begun in Destiny 2, and you know that a bunch of new challenges have arrived to let you earn those sweet season pass rewards. Whether you’re a new or veteran Guardian, you must remember that these challenges come weekly to the game, so you should take it slow and enjoy all of the content there is during the season. Ultimately, you’ll be completing challenges effortlessly. To help you keep track of them, here’s a list of all the tasks you need to complete in the upcoming weeks.

Week 1
- Echoed Warnings Part I
- Complete Act I Part I of “Echoed Warnings.”
- Heretical Arsenal
- Defeat combatants with Sword final blows. Bonus progress in Episode: Heresy activities or by defeating other Guardians.
- Sigil Shards
- Acquire Sigil Shards by opening chests in the Nether activities and completing activities throughout the system.
- Sigil Shard Spender
- Spend Sigil Shards to unlock Runic Enhancements at the Shaping Slab or unlock Crumbling Scriptures on the Tome of Want.
- Essence of Desire
- Collect Essence of Desire by purging Methastasized Essentia at the Essentia vendor in Eris’ apartment in the Last City.
- Essence of Desire Spender
- Spend Essence of Desire to activate a ritual in the Tome of Want or to open Taken chests in the Nether.
- Nether Power
- Acquire boons in the Nether for temporary buffs during the activity. Additional progress for major or corrupted boons.
- Path to Victory
- Complete Pathfinder paths this season and collect their Pinnacle rewards.
- Arcing Sparks
- Defeat Guardians with arc damage in the Crucible.
Week 2
- Echoed Warnings Part II
- Complete Act 2, Part 1 of Echoed Warnings.
- Heretical Arsenal
- Defeat combatants with Machine Gun final blows. Bonus progress in Episode Heresy activities or by defeating Guardians.
- Sigil Cracker
- Destroy 5 Sigil Stones that drop from defeated combatants around the system to purge the written words of the deep.
- Focused Scriptures
- Earn 2 focused rewards from your boosted Tomb of Want.
- Frozen Weave
- Defeat combatants with Strand of Stasis damage in the Nether. Earn bonus progress when empowered by one of the following boons: Herald of the Deep, Paracausal Siphon, or Finishing Strand.
- Large Arms Soulfire
- Defeat 125 targets with Machine Guns or Grenade Launchers. Bonus progress in Episode Heresy activities or by defeating Guardians.
Week 3
- Echoed Warnings Part III
- Complete Part III of the seasonal quest in Heresy Act I.
- Heretical Arsenal
- Defeat combatants with Grenade Launcher final blows. Bonus progress in Episode: Heresy activities or by defeating Guardians.
- Dreadnaught Secrets
- Find secrets in The Nether.
- Shock Density
- Defeat combatants with Arc or Void damage in the Nether.
- Violent Pulsations
- Defeat Combatants with Pulse Rifles. Bonus progress in Episode: Heresy activities.
- Nether Expertise
- Complete the Nether on Advanced or Expert difficulty.
- Principal Performance
- Deal final blows with Primary ammo in any ritual activity.
- Iron Sharpens Iron
- Complete Iron Banner matches. Bonus progress can be earned via wins.
Week 4
- Heretical Arsenal
- Defeat combatants with Linear Fusion Rifle final blows. Bonus progress in Episode: Heresy activities or by defeating Guardians.
- Minor Blessings Aplenty
- Complete the Nether activity with a large number of minor boon stacks in a single run.
- Explosive Punch
- In the Nether, defeat combatants with Grenades or melee final blows. Additional progress if empowered by many boons.
- Valued Destruction
- As a fireteam, break destructible Hive Ritual Jars in the Nether for extra ammo, healing orbs, and sometimes minor Boons.
- Dreadnaught Discoveries
- Find collectibles of any type around the Dreadnaught.
- Expert Sector
- Complete a Lost Sector on Expert difficulty or higher.
- Grandmaster
- Complete any Nightfall strike on Grandmaster.
Week 5
- Heretical Arsenal
- Defeat combatants with Auto Rifle final blows. Bonus progress in Episode: Heresy activities or by defeating Guardians.
- Beat Back the Nether
- Complete encounters in the Nether with Runic Enhancements equipped that are worth at least five Sigil Shards.
- In the Zone
- Capture zones in Crucible’s Zone Capture playlist. Bonus progress for obtaining the highest score.
- Boss Battle
- Defeat bosses in strikes or Vanguard playlists.
- Energy Disruption
- Get final blows with Energy slot weapons. Bonus progress for defeating Guardians.
