The Destiny 2 Amplified buff is the new buff we will see after the Arc 3.0 rework. Unlike the Radiant buff in the Season of the Haunted, you won’t need to use any additional aspects or fragments to become amplified. The basic idea behind the Arc 3.0 rework is moving fast and dealing an immense amount of damage.
According to a Bungie blogpost, becoming Amplified means being on a roll. While this buff is active, you can move faster, and your weapon handling will improve drastically. To top it off, you will be able to slide for a longer distance and set up deadly attacks.
How to activate the Destiny 2 Amplified buff?
As mentioned before, you do not need to equip any specific aspect or fragment to become Amplified in Destiny 2. All you need to do is rapidly defeat enemies with Arc damage. After you’ve defeated a certain amount of enemies, you will become faster and stronger. However, there are some aspects that will help you become Amplified. Between these aspects and rapidly defeating enemies with Arc damage, you will be able to use this buff for long durations.
Arc 3.0 Amplified Buff Aspects
- Flow State: Hunters, this aspect is for you. With this aspect, whenever you defeat a jolted enemy, you will become Amplified. When you’re amplified, you will be able to slide for a long distance in Destiny 2. Other than that, your dodge ability will recharge faster, and you will be resistant to damage as well.
- Electrostatic Mind: Calling all Warlocks! The Electrostatic Mind is an aspect that will be important to almost every build revolving around the Arc 3.0 subclass. This aspect will help you create Iconic Traces by defeating enemies with Arc abilities and enemies who are either jolted or blinded. Whenever you pick up these Iconic Traces, you will become Amplified. While the Destiny 2 Amplified buff is active, whenever you jolt an enemy, they will send out more chains of lightning. Your Ball Lightning ability will zap enemies thrice instead of once. Pretty cool, right?
- Knockout: Titans, you like getting up close and personal. This aspect will help you go all ballistic on your enemies. Whenever you kill someone with your powered melee ability, you will start regenerating health. This will also make you Amplified. While amplified, your melee range will increase, and your base melee ability will also become charged with Arc.
