Every since the release of Episode: Echoes Act I in Destiny 2, we’ve been getting new Specimen ID quests every week that we can work on along with our weekly quest steps. This week, we’re up against Specimen ID: NES002, and it’s not one that you’ll want to pass up. Each Specimen ID quest fabricates and upgrades research instruments that you’ll use in your gameplay. Let’s take a look at how to complete the Specimen ID: NES002 quest in Destiny 2.

- Failsafe believes NES002 originates from a location of great power on Nessus.
- Complete patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors to triangulate the source of this specimen. Scrape additional ambient data by completing Failsafe bounties.

Research Instrument Fabricated: Weekly Deepsight Focusing – The first Echo Weapon you focus each week is guaranteed to have Deepsight Resonance.
- Speak with Failsafe in the H.E.L.M. to review her final specimen analysis report.
Step 3
The Well Constellation Fragments can be placed in the specimen display at the H.E.L.M.
- Travel to the H.E.L.M. and place the Well Constellation Fragments in your specimen collection.
