In order to get Defiance of Yasmin, you must complete either the Warpiest or the Daughters of Oryx encounters in the raid and as a reward, you might get this sniper rifle. After completing the final encounter, you can buy Defiance of Yasmin for 20 Spoils of Conquest as well.
The good thing about Defiance of Yasmin is its wide variety of Perks you can select from. For PvE mode, it is best to use Firing Line which will increase 20% Precision damage when you are near two or more allies.
As for the PvP, it is best to use Snapshot Sight which increased the speed of aiming down your sights. Also using Opening Shot is a great option. This Perk increases the range and accuracy of the first shot fired.
