This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Spectral Pages are a huge part of the Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost event. The event began on October 17th, and ends a week into November. However, that leaves loads of time for you to hop into any typical D2 activity to scoop up the oh-so-valuable Spectral Pages and turn them into Manifested Pages in a Haunted Sector or Legend Haunted Sector. Let’s take at exactly how to get Spectral Pages in Destiny 2 during the 2023 Festival of the Lost.

What are  Spectral Pages in Destiny 2?

Spectral Pages act as a stepping stone on your way to the main currency for completing Festival of the Lost challenges in Destiny 2. Many challenges require you to put Manifested Pages into the Book of the Forgotten, which will then reveal the Shrouded Pages and complete challenges. However, you must obtain Spectral Pages, then head into a Haunted Sector and turn them into Manifested Pages.

How to Get Spectral Pages in Destiny 2?

Spectra Pages are obtained in Destiny 2 by completing activities other than Haunted Sectors while the Festival of the Lost is active. However, to do this, you must be wearing the Masquerader’s Hood. Otherwise, no Spectral Pages will drop. There is a small chance that Spectral Pages will drop as a reward for completing the following activities:

  • Bounties
  • Public Events
  • Lost Sectors
  • Strikes
  • Nightfall
  • Crucible
  • Gambit

As a rule, the harder the activity, the higher the chance that you will be rewarded with Spectral Pages.

How to Get Manifested Pages in Destiny 2?

Spectral Pages are converted into Manifested Pages by having them in your inventory while you complete Haunted Sectors. Though, it’s a lengthy process.

  1. First, head into the Haunted Sector from the Director tab or from the altar near Eva Levante. This will begin the Haunted Sector Playlist.
  2. Once you head inside, various Summoning Circles will appear on the ground, marked by letter waypoints. Standing inside of the Summoning Circles will pull up a progress bar that indicates how close you are to summoning a Headless One.
  3. As you defeat Headless Ones and the Haunted Sector boss, you will slowly convert Spectral Mages into Manifested Pages, which can be collected at the end of the Haunted Sector upon completion.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
