This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

In the new Dungeon that was released during Destiny 2‘s Season of the Wish, we got a whole new Exotic weapon: The Buried Bloodline. The Buried Bloodline is an Exotic Void Sidearm that takes on the look of a mini crossbow and definitely looks enticing, even without its impressive skills and stats. Even though some of the other Dungeon Exotics ended up being a lot less than we anticipated, the Warlord’s Ruin Sidearm is looking to be a solid weapon choice and is holding up to the high bar we set for it.

Since the Buried Bloodline is the Season of the Wish Dungeon Exotic, it only makes sense that you would have to complete the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon in order to get it. However, you can’t just run into the Dungeon and take out one of the encounters. You have to complete the entire Dungeon and take out the final encounter.

Can You Farm the Warlord’s Ruin Exotic?

In simple terms, no. There isn’t a way to farm the Warlord’s Ruin Exotic or other loot. Every week, you only get three chances to complete Warlord’s Ruin and only one on each character. This is how it works for every Dungeon you come across. However, there is an exception. A Dungeon becomes farmable when it enters into the weekly rotation. While this isn’t the most ideal situation, it still at least gives you a chance to farm it later on.

Buried Bloodline Exotic Perks and Stats in Destiny 2

  • Hungering Quarrel Intrinsic Trait – Double fires tracking bolts. Landing bolts leech health from the target.
  • Violent Reanimation Trait – Multiple final blows with this weapon grant Devour to other wielders.
  • Splitvein Lineage Exotic Catalyst – While Devour is active, this weapon weakens targets on hit.
  • Velocity – 84
  • Range – 35
  • Stability – 57
  • Handling – 55
  • Reload Speed – 36
  • Aim Assistance – 89
  • Zoom – 18
  • Airborne Effectiveness – 22
  • Rounds per Minute – 100
  • Magazine – 11

Given the traits and stats available for the Buried Bloodline, it’s clear that this weapon is nothing to joke about. Not only does it give you access to Devour for specific activities that require it, but it also can be effectively taken into battle anywhere.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
