After a not-so-long wait, the Finality’s Auger exotic rifle is finally here, and Destiny 2 players can start working toward obtaining it. Like previous dungeon weapons, there are a few steps and luck involved to get your hands on this new rifle. However, if you manage to get it, you’ll have one heck of a weapon with some interesting traits. So, we hope you’re ready to enter the Sundered Doctrine dungeon because you’ll have to get familiar with it if you hope to add this gun to your collection.
How To Get the Finality’s Auger from Sundered Doctrine
Similar to previous exotic dungeon weapons in Destiny 2, to get the Finality’s Auger, you need to either complete the Sundered Doctrine dungeon on Contest Mode for a guaranteed drop or wait for Normal Mode and get it as a random drop from the final encounter. The latter is not a guaranteed way to get it, but it is better than nothing. Remember that you need The Final Shape dungeon key to participate in the Sundered Dungeon. Also, Contest Mode only runs for 48 hours, so you must hurry if you want a guaranteed weapon drop.
Perks and Traits
As expected from another exotic weapon, Finality’s Auger also has some interesting perks and traits, making it one of the deadliest rifles right now.
- Perks
- Arrowhead Break: Greatly controls recoil. Increases handling speed.
- Particle Repeater: Increases stability.
- Ruinscribe’s Beacon: While a Ruinscribe Turret is deployed, this weapon can paint targets with its laser projectiles. The turret prioritizes painted targets and fires more powerful munitions at them.
- Short-Action Stock: Greatly increases handling speed
- Traits
- Runescribe’s Forge: Press “R” to fire a special projectile that deploys a Ruinscribe Turret. This projectile costs 3 ammo to fire. Aim the projectile skyward to provide the clearest sight lines for the turret, which will automatically shoot at nearby targets.
