Destiny 2 has today launched its 4.0.0.6 update on all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Today’s update may be small in scope, but finally brings about the end to a bug that’s been plaguing the game since Witch Queen’s launch quite infamously. That’s right, Xur is finally going to sell armor that isn’t at the lowest stat rolls possible! To be completely honest, I had lost hope we’d ever see armor stat rolls break the 50 mark, but finally, Bungie has tackled this annoying issue. There’s plenty more to discuss though, so let’s not waste time. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with Destiny 2 in its 4.0.0.6 update.
Destiny 2 Update 4.0.0.6 Patch Notes
Xur
- Fixed an issue that was causing Xûr to offer Exotic armor with low stat rolls and identical stat allocation.
- This fix has caused an issue we are now investigating where the advertised stats on Xûr’s inventory screen may be slightly different than the item you receive.
- It’s been a very eventful time for Xûr, but he’s ready to get back to work. He thanks you for your patience.
Trials of Osiris
- Fixed an issue where players were not receiving the expected additional rewards while being in the Flawless pool.
Platforms and Systems
PC
- Fixed an issue where some users could experience black screens on Windows 7 and 8.1.
- Note: Some players may continue to experience this issue depending on PC specs. If you experience this issue, please report any findings to our Bungie Help forum here.
While the Xur fixes are the star of the show here (despite the added caveat), the fixes to both Windows black screens and Trials of Osiris are great as well. A more stable experience is always a good sign, and should hopefully be maintained going forward.
Destiny 2 and update 4.0.0.6 are available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. For more information regarding this update, check out the official Bungie site.
