Remember Dante and his brother Virgil from the old Devil May Cry games? Now you can play these characters on your phone, with the Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat action RPG! The new Android/iOS title harkens back to the fond memories of DMC fans by bringing back some of the best and most iconic characters in the series. In fact, your goal in this game is to gather a set of heroes and upgrade them to have the best demon-slaying team. But is Dante stronger than everyone? Which character would you pick as your main? Here’s the tier list for the best Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat characters.
Best Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat Characters
There aren’t a ton of characters in the Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat, but even the selective few form a clear tier list to dictate which are the best to use and invest in in the game. It’s also important to note that the weapons that each character uses are changeable, meaning that you can give your B-Tier Dante a powerful sword to slay the demons like they’re butter. But giving that weapon to an S-Tier character is the point that makes the difference.
B-Tier
- Demon Hunter Dante
- Swift Arsenal Lady
- Knight of The Order Nero
- Devil Crusher Virgil
- Nomadic Lightning Virgil
- Spark Igniter Lady
These B-Tier characters are some of the first people you meet in the Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat. Demon Hunter Dante is literally the one you start the game with, accompanied by the Swift Arsenal Lady. Now, investing in these characters isn’t necessarily a bad idea, but it’s best if you complete some missions, get resources, and buy A-Tier variations of them.
A-Tier
- One-Man Show Dante
- Fists of Salvation Dante
- Frosty Grace Lady
Moving up to the A-Tier, we have some of the best characters in the Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat‘s list. The One-Man Show Dante is a guitar-wielding variation of the character that plays a demonic instrument. It has ranged aerial attacks, and the damage will apply to anyone around. Want more speedy attacks with heavy damage? Then Fists of Salvation Dante is your man. This variation has a fire element for attacks and comes with two different stances you switch between and create combos with.
And last but not least, is the Frost Grace Lady. Lady is a needed character in most teams you’d be creating, since she’s a support class hero. The Frost Grace Lady, however, is the strongest variation of this character so far. She has an ice element in her attacks, allowing her to freeze and slow the enemies, which ranks her in the A-Tier among the best Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat characters.
S-Tier
- Endless Judgement Virgil
- Royal Guard Dante
If you got the chance to have either of the Endless Judgement Virgil, or the Royal Guard Dante characters, you’ll be ruling the game! These two are the only S-Tier characters in the game, coming with some of the most powerful abilities and damage stats.
The Royal Guard Dante allows you to have a blocking button instead of a signature move. This might sound like an ordinary thing, but with every enemy move you block, the more damage Dante delivers with his next attacks! The Endless Judgement Virgil on the other hand, is so fast in his moves and can cause a bleeding effect on almost every combo he has. His Judgement Cut is probably the most powerful move we will see in the game.
Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is currently available to play on Android and iOS mobile devices.
