Devolver Digital will be hosting another unique show at E3 2020 with some announcements in between.
Officially revealed on Twitter, Devolver Digital will be coming back to E3 for the fourth year in a row to present another press conference with Mahria Zook and her violent and gruesome sarcasms to the industry’s poor situation with company’s such as EA and Activision draining gamers money by overusing in-game purchasable items, loot boxes, and lots of battle pass.
Last year, Devolver Digital announced Carrion. A 2D pixelated game with a creative idea behind that has no exact release date yet. Unlike most of the single-player games you’ve already played, in Carrion, you will be controlling the antagonist, which is an ever-growing unknown creature, trying to destroy the prison it’s being kept in. The idea looks like a reversed version of the Resident Evil franchise in which you play the virus-effected giants and AI plays characters like Jill and Leon. Carrion will be coming to

Aside from unveiling Carrion, Devolver Digital also launched two great games last year: My Friend Pedro and Katana Zero. While the former reached an unexpected amount of sales on Steam and Switch, the latter managed to be nominated for the Best Indie Game award during The Game Awards 2019. Also, we shouldn’t forget about Gris, a beautifully designed game that won the Games for Impact award at last year’s TGA event.
What games Devolver Digital is planning to bring to E3 2020 is yet to be known, but I hope they a strong line-up of games in addition to their sarcastic show that most of the time takes a huge part of the conference.
As you may know, Sony is the biggest absent company of E3 this year. Besides, Geoff Keighley announced recently that he won’t have any roles in E3 2020.
