Nintendo has released the Diablo III Eternal Collection, complete with exclusives for the Nintendo Switch. In the world of Diablo, the angels and demons that gave birth to your world have returned to claim it. You must stop them by battling the horrifying undead, cultists, fallen angels, and the Lords of Hell.
So what can be expected from this collection? The pack includes the Reaper of Souls Expansion, the Rise of the Necromancer pack, seven classes, five acts, and seasons’ worth of gaming. Aside from the epic story mode, players can change the difficulty settings and unlock over 800 unique abilities. Players can choose to be a barbarian, crusader, demon hunter, monk, necromancer, witch doctor, or a wizard.
A fun Nintendo Switch exclusive for Diablo is some various pieces of The Legend of Zelda in Sanctuary. Players can be a Cucco as a companion pet, although if they are anything like the ones in Hyrule they are unfriendly. There is also a Triforce portrait frame and players are able to wear Ganondorf’s armor.
Diablo III is available with a Joy-Con controller or a Pro Controller to add to the gaming experience. Legendary items scattered throughout the game enables changing play styles and getting special bonuses.
Players can follow the single-player story mode. But they can also play with up to three friends in RPG action without requiring an internet connection. There is also online play for those who want to dive right into its multiplayer world. When playing with more than one person, it can be done with a shared screen on Switch, remotely on four Switch consoles, or combined TV and handheld play.
Diablo III Eternal Collection is currently available to purchase on Nintendo’s website or in stores. It is rated M for blood and gore, partial nudity, and violence.
