Like every other Diablo game, players’ main focus is to find a way to increase the strength of their character’s build. One of the ways to do this is by buying and selling gems in the market. So here is the guide on how to buy & sell gems in Diablo Immortal.
How to Buy & Sell Gems in Diablo Immortal
Buying and selling regular or Legendary gems is one of the greatest ways to build up your character. There are multiple ways to acquire these gems, but only certain ones are eligible to be listed and sold in the market.
Every legendary gem has a star rating and ranks. The star rating cannot be changed, but the rank for every legendary gem can be increased. Legendary gems have base skills in the game and additional abilities for reaching higher ranks. As you rank them up, you will need to acquire duplicates to continue increasing the gem’s power. This is why getting the legendary gems from The Market is better.
The Market is located in Westmatch’s Rakkis Plaza. You might have noticed that your gems are not listed when you access the selling tab in the Market menu. This is because the only gems you can sell are those with a balance scale symbol in the top-left corner of their icon. Only specific methods of obtaining legendary gems will allow players to sell them, and unfortunately, they require farming for resources or spending real money.
The first option to get legendary gems to sell is to purchase Eternal Legendary Crests. The only way to get Eternal Legendary Crests is to buy them with real money. One Eternal Legendary Crests costs 160 Eternal Orbs, while 60 Eternal Orbs cost $0.99.

There is also another way. Every time you complete a Challenge Rift, you earn a certain amount of Fading Embers. You can use Fading Embers to purchase FA Runes from the vendor to the left of the Challenge Rift gate. FA Runes can be used at the Apprentice Jeweler in Rakkis Plaza to craft random legendary gems. It costs 7 FA Runes for a one-star legendary gem, 22 for a random, and 28 for a two-star.
The only regular gems you can sell in the Market are those that haven’t been equipped at any point in the game. Once equipped, they’re bound to that character.
