Legendary Gems are the primary focus of endgame progression in Diablo Immortal. While Legendary Gear gives players high stats and boosts attributes, Legendary Gems are the items used to empower equipment above and beyond their standard capacity, allowing heroes to become colossal powerhouses of damage in combat. This increase in power is essential for high performance during late-game activities and PvP battles. Therefore, Diablo Immortal adventurers need to know how to farm for Legendary Gems if they wish to excel their character to new heights in power. The game offers multiple ways to acquire Legendary Gems in the world of Sanctuary.

Farming Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal

The best and most optimal way to farm for Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal is by purchasing Eternal Legendary Crests in the cash shop using Eternal Orbs. Adventurers can use these Crests before heading into an Elder Rift for a guaranteed chance of receiving Legendary Gems. Up to ten Crests can be used at a time to receive ten Gems.

Ideally, the Elder Rift system has been designed to have players spend 25 USD per run for ten Eternal Legendary Crests, which convert into ten random Legendary Gems. Of course, there are other ways of getting Legendary Gems instead of a direct purchase from the shop. Diablo Immortal fans can also farm for Legendary Gems by earning Legendary Crests from Battle Pass rewards. The Battle Pass will level up gradually as players complete a variety of activities in Sanctuary. Another way to get Legendary Gems is by crafting them with Runes, items acquired from Elder Rifts after the player has activated a Legendary or Rare Crest. Keep in mind that Rare Crests offer lower loot rates and only a 5% chance of receiving a Legendary Gem compared to the Legendary Crest.

For F2P players, one monthly Legendary Crest can be purchased from the Hilts Trader in Westmarch for 1,600 Hilts. Two Crests per day can also be bought for 300 Hilts each. This is quite a drastic difference in accessibility from the cash shop bundles, but it is the optimal way to farm for Legendary Gems for free in Diablo Immortal. However, as mentioned above, Runes have an increased drop rate when a player uses a Legendary Crest. While the guaranteed Legendary Gem drops are not passed to other group members, the whole party will receive more loot and potentially more Runes if they queue up with someone running ten Legendary Crests in the Elder Rift.

Diablo Immortal is available for PC, Android, and iOS.
