On Tuesday, the disgraced music mogul shared a post on Instagram to commemorate his youngest daughter, Love, turning 2. In a series of images, the toddler was seen in a white gown smashing her cake. Included in the slideshow were two photos of Diddy doting on his seventh child and being a great father. “Happy Birthday, baby Love! Happy Birthday @loveseancombs. Daddy loves you,” the accompanying caption read. The Coming Home artist has been in custody since September 19. Hence, the birthday post comes as a surprise.
Since the start of his sexual assault scandal in November 2023, Diddy wiped his social media clean. As of this writing, there are only three posts on his Instagram, and they are all of his daughters — Love and the twins Jessie and D’Lila. Given that his alleged abusive nature towards women is one of his crimes, could Diddy be trying to present himself as the ultimate girl dad?

Fans seem to think the social media posts are just a PR move and have nothing to do with how the rapper truly feels about his kids. “His publisher(s) just throwing everything to present Diddy as f* man,” observed one fan on Reddit. “Yeah, Diddy and family values shouldn’t be used in the same sentence.” A second fan wondered, “Diddy on Damage Control?” while another comment read:
“It’s a tactic by his team to humanize him. Any normal person doesn’t need to wish their child a happy birthday in front of the world, behind bars.”
A third fan wrote, “Diddy posting on Instagram right now is diabolical,” while another penned, “Love Sean Combs is his daughter’s full name? Can this man possibly be more of a narcissist?“
