Sean Diddy Combs has reportedly used his time behind bars to do a lot of self-reflecting. He is said to be trying to clean up his image. The disgraced rapper has also enrolled in domestic violence prevention and drug programs while awaiting sentencing. Even so, many who have been following the Diddy trial news aren’t buying into the music mogul’s sudden urge to change.
Diddy is looking to redeem himself in the eyes of the public, and especially the eyes of the judge, as he awaits his October sentencing date. The 55-year-old music mogul is working out his plans. While life for Diddy continues behind the bars of the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, he is doing everything he can to change his image.

According to the Page Six insiders, Diddy has enrolled in a handful of therapeutic and behavioral reform programs aimed at domestic violence prevention and drug abuse recovery. Their sources reveal Combs is participating in the STOP Program, which focuses on sexual assault, domestic abuse, and dating violence education.
He’s also reportedly joined therapy sessions and resumed his involvement in Dr. Harry K. Wexler’s drug treatment program, which he allegedly started even before his September 2024 arrest.
Sean Diddy Combs is scheduled for sentencing on October 3. In the meantime, he is looking like the model prisoner. Diddy wants to show the judge that he is all about redeeming himself in hopes that the judge will take pity on him when his sentencing day arrives.
Lawsuits Still Mounting For Sean Diddy Combs Outside the Prison Walls
While his most serious charges to date from his recent sex trafficking trial are now behind him, the disgraced rapper’s time in court is far from over. Combs is still facing serious time for two counts of prostitution, each carrying up to 10 years.
Not to mention, Diddy has a long list of ongoing lawsuits against him on various alleged charges still awaiting him. That said, the list of alleged accusations also grows longer as each day passes.

So now the big question remains. Is Sean Diddy Combs serious about redeeming his dirty reputation, or is it all for show? With a sentencing date looming and a reputation in flames, Diddy’s newfound interest in prison therapy could be seen as an effort to win favor with the judge, the media, or both. However, for the most part, it appears as if the majority of Diddy’s followers are leery.
“He’s fooling no one with this fake clean-up act,” writes one commenter.
“This bully will never change, belongs right where he is,” adds another.
“Lawyers told him to attend these classes so the judge would set him free. He’s not going to change his evil ways,” states one more.
Whether this is a true redemption arc or just a desperate PR pivot, one thing is certain. Diddy’s days of popping bottles with Hollywood’s elite are over. Even if by some legal miracle he walks out early, life on the outside won’t look anything like it did before. Sean Diddy Combs’ bad boy era is officially over. No amount of rehab and regret is going to change that.
