Diddy‘s legal troubles are affecting his family life. His mother, Janice Combs, was hospitalized on Wednesday after experiencing chest pains. The rapper has been on the receiving end of several sexual assaults and sex trafficking lawsuits in recent months.
The matriarch was admitted to a Miami hospital after she complained of feeling discomfort in her chest. The cause of the chest pain is unknown as of now but TMZ reports that Janice will remain in the hospital for at least another day until doctors figure out what is wrong. The rapper’s mother suffered a health scare while at her residence in Miami. Although Diddy is currently in the same city, he wasn’t with her when it happened. Sources claim the Bad Boys Records founder rushed to be by her side at the hospital at Janice’s request.
Janice allegedly believes that her chest pain is related to the lawsuits her famous son is fighting, as well as the federal investigation into sex trafficking. Nevertheless, she is happy to have Diddy by her side because “He’s her comfort in this.” The 83-year-old has also been her son’s comfort since authorities raided his homes in March. They have been spending a lot of time together.
Diddy’s Latest Lawsuit Involves A Porn Star
The Coming Home artist has been embroiled in at least 10 lawsuits, with the latest filed on July 3 by a former porn star. The plaintiff, Adria English, levied grooming and sex trafficking allegations against the music mogul. According to English, her first interaction with Diddy, while auditioning for a modeling job, resulted in him asking her to perform oral sex. Although she refused, she was allowed to become a go-go dancer at the rapper’s infamous White Party events.
English was a dancer for Diddy’s parties for five years. During her time, she allegedly drank alcohol laced with narcotics and flirted with guests as part of her job. With time, Diddy began asking her to engage in sexual intercourse with guests, often passing her around his famous friends. She claimed Diddy used her past as an adult film star to coerce her into offering sexual services. English is seeking millions to alleviate the emotional and mental distress caused by this. Diddy has, however, denied all allegations through his lawyer.
