Just when you think nothing can surprise you anymore, the internet proves you wrong. Disturbing and downright disgusting things still manage to surface, and one recent example out of Florida left viewers horrified.
A man was filmed casually eating cookies, which seems harmless enough until you see what else was inside the pack. The cookies weren’t just cookies; they were crawling with roaches, and not just one or two. The package appeared completely infested, with at least 10 small roaches swarming all over it.
What made it even more stomach-turning was that the man didn’t stop. He continued holding the pack and even ate from it as the insects moved around inside. Watching the clip, it’s hard to blame anyone for feeling nauseated.
For a moment, you might hope that the Florida man was blind or something so he didn’t see the roaches. He, however, was completely aware of them. The cameraman can be heard saying, “You is [sic] the sickest man alive.” That’s a valid reaction. The Florida man then finally took the pack to the trash can. Unfortunately, he didn’t do what anyone hoped for and threw everything away. Instead, he threw the pack in the trash can and kept the cookies in his hand. He continued eating them like they weren’t topped with roaches a few minutes ago. He even said that they tasted good. Does he think that the roaches added some kind of protein to them? I will need a long time to be able to erase the video from my memory.
People Reacting to the Disgusting Florida Man
Thankfully, I wasn’t the only one who found that what the Florida man did was gross. A lot of people shared the same opinion as one woman wrote, “This is genuinely an arrestable offense.” It should be. Another woman thought the same as she asked, “Damn why yall didn’t call the police?” Honestly, this should be treated like disturbing people’s peace. The jail comments kept going since one person also said, “lock emmmm upppp.” Another person believed that the guy could probably face anything thrown at him. “Put him on fear factor,” they wrote. Someone else said, “Throw UNC in the HUNGER GAMES.” He will probably be the winner in both. A third person agreed as they added, “Sign this man up for one of those survival shows.” If he didn’t mind eating food infested with roaches, then he probably could survive these shows.
Others looked at the Florida man’s situation differently. Some people believed that he was starving and had nothing else to eat. “This is actually sad, he probably has nth else to eat,” one person wrote. This made another person claim that the man is unwell. “you’re telling me this man has NOTHING else to eat except for some cookies with a roach nest in it? This man seems unwell,” they said. More people kept sympathizing with the man as someone else wrote, “yall recording unk instead of taking dem from him going to the store and replacing the cookies so unk can eat in peace.” I mean he did say that they tasted good. If he actually had nothing else to eat then I hope someone brought him cookies that didn’t have roaches as toppings.
