Unfortunately, with Trump’s immigration policy and the raids conducted daily by ICE, a lot of people find it okay to be racist toward Mexican people. Dozens of videos have appeared in the last couple of months showing exactly that. A new example was that of a Florida woman who could only be described as a disgusting individual. She was filmed by a Mexican man as she went on a racist rant directed toward him. From the video, it looked like the guy was working on something when she approached him. So he wasn’t annoying her at all.
Despite the guy focusing on his work, the racist Florida woman started telling him, “I don’t wanna see your Mexican [expletive]. I rather see a Black man.” It seemed like she was drunk, though, as she then told him, “You are a disgusting to society.” She can’t even form correct sentences. “You are nothing,” she continued. He politely asked her to walk away but she refused. When he next told her that she was harassing him, she claimed that he was harassing her and her child. It didn’t look like that.
People Reacting to the Disgusting Florida Woman’s Racist Rant
A lot of people sympathized with the Mexican guy, especially since he looked so defeated. This is why one woman wrote, “That poor guy looks so heartbroken.” Since the TikToker who posted the video said that the Florida woman doesn’t represent people in the state, several comments disagreed with him. “I disagree with you on that she does represent Florida,” one person wrote. Another woman then replied, “I live in Broward County, it IS VERY MUCH FLORIDA‼! It’s truly disgusting and disappointing to watch! My husband worries abt me every day I leave the house bc of my skin color and I won’t keep my mouth shut to ppl like her!”
Aside from insulting Florida, other people pointed out the amount of racism being shown recently. “Did people speak like this before trump?” one person asked. This made another person reply and say, “OVERT racism, mysogeny, xenophobia FLOURISHED after Trump became president in ’17. Trump gave tacit permission to hate.” More people came after Trump when someone asked, “Why do people think they can talk to another human that way? I don’t get it?” Some of the answers included “Because a certain clown made it OK” and “Because Trumps made racism acceptable. He’s opened the door and put out the welcome mat for racists.” Many would agree with that.
