While exploring the Glade of Trust in Disney Dreamlight Valley, adventurers will eventually come across a bridge blocked by a cluster of pungent mushrooms that players must destroy to progress. After attempting to strike the shroom patch with pickaxes and shovels, fans will eventually realize that these mushrooms are no ordinary fungi and require a special solution to remove in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This solution is connected to a Friendship Quest that only becomes available once Merlin’s Friendship Level has reached a specific milestone. Removing Mushrooms In Disney Dreamlight Valley

To remove and destroy the mushrooms in Glade of Trust of Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will need to craft the Royal Watering Can Upgrade Ointment. This Quest Item can be given to Merlin, who will then enchant the protagonist’s Watering Can. Next, return to the mushrooms and pour water on the fungi to clear the path into the next area.

Thanks to footage provided by the YouTube channel GosuNoob, Disney Dreamlight Valley fans can know the steps required to unlock the Watering Can for destroying the pesky mushrooms:

Step No.  Walkthrough Details
1
  • The first prerequisite for the Watering Can upgrade is unlocking Wall-E, who lives in his own Realm accessible via the Dream Castle.
  • To bring him back to the Valley, players will need to do the following:
    • Find a new tread for his body
    • Craft several Trash Cubes
    • Complete some farming with Wall-E
    • Talk with other Villagers to regain Wall-E’s memories

  • The second prerequisite is reaching Friendship Level 10 with Merlin, the Wizard.
  • Since Merlin is one of the first characters players will meet, bringing him along for farming, fishing, and other activities should be simple.

  • After attaining Friendship Level 10, Merlin’s Friendship Quest, “The Final Trial.”
  • To get started, speak with Merlin, and he will suggest the protagonist procure some Purified Night Shard Powder to craft the Royal Watering Can Upgrade Ointment.

  • Give the crafted ointment to Merlin, and he will enchant the Watering Can.

  • Finally, return to the mushroom patch and pour the enchanted Watering Can on the fungi to destroy them in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Now, if players ever encounter these corrupted mushrooms again, they will know that their Watering Can can solve the problem.
