Disney Dreamlight Valley is a beautiful, enchanting place… but it’s not without its obstacles. If you’re looking to explore the entire Valley, you’ll need to be on the lookout for pesky tree stumps. These obstacles can be found throughout the Valley, blocking your path and impeding your progress. But don’t worry – with a bit of help from your friend Anna, you’ll be able to overcome these obstacles in no time! Anna can first be found in the Frozen Realm, accessible from Dream Castle. After you finish her quest line, Anna will appear in the Valley. You must then reach Friendship Level 2 with her through interaction to unlock the next quest, “An Ice Invitation.” This new head for your Shovel–obtainable through completion of the said quest.

You’ll need a Shovel head crafted from Iron Ore and Tinkering Parts, which you can obtain from the forest of Valor. Once you have the Shovelhead, you can remove the tree stumps by interacting with them the same way you do other objects with your Shovel.
