Apex Legends is a giant in the battle royale formulae. With millions of active players daily, the game is available on multiple devices, from PC to Nintendo Switch to Playstation and Xbox console systems. Alongside this, Apex Legends also has cross-play support, allowing players from multiple platforms to play with one another. All this begs the question of whether or not Apex Legends have cross-progression, the ability to take your accumulated progress from one platform to another seamlessly. Many popular games, such as Fortnite and Genshin Impact, support cross-progression.

Despite its cross-platform capability, Apex Legends does not yet support cross-progression. Seeing how competitors like Warzone and Fortnite both support the feature, players can expect cross-progression to hit Apex Legends soon.

Apex Legends does support cross-progression on PC. Players who got the game through Origins can transfer their progress onto Steam and vice versa. Similarly, Playstation and Xbox players can progress from previous consoles to the newer generation.

Cross-progression has been confirmed to hit the game sooner or later, however. The hacks on respawn servers in 2021 severely impacted the progress of this feature. Many team members from Respawn have confirmed that the feature is a work in progress and will eventually come out.

Coming over to Apex Legends Mobile, despite the massive player base, Respawn treats Apex Legends Mobile as a separate title. This means that despite it being the same game, no progress can be carried over from mobile to consoles and vice versa. This is another thing respawn needs to address since, aside from the core gameplay, the Mobile version is a very complete version of Apex Legends.
