Two women are whisked off to an island by a billionaire in the high-tension thriller, Blink Twice. Directed by Zoë Kravitz (The Batman) in her directorial debut, the film stars Naomi Ackie (Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker), Channing Tatum (Magic Mike), Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development), Christian Slater (Mr. Robot), and Adria Arjona (Hit Man). As it is a fast-paced suspenseful thriller, you might wonder if the film pays that tension off with a stinger after the credits. So, let’s see whether or not Blink Twice has a post-credits scene.

Is There a Post-Credits Scene in Blink Twice?

If all of the partying by the pool and alcohol consumption in the film made you want to rush off to the bathroom, feel free to do so because Blink Twice does not have a post-credits scene. Once the credits begin there are no stingers, extra scenes, or bloopers of any kind. Of course, you can always stay and watch the credits to see the names of everybody who worked on the movie. But, if you don’t feel like sitting around you can leave the theater as soon as the credits begin to roll.

Blink Twice isn’t necessarily the type of movie that warrants a post-credits scene. However, while the film ends on a note of finality, it would have been nice to have something after the credits to let us know what happened to a couple of the characters. It’s not that the film’s ending is rushed, but rather that a couple of their fates are unclear. Plus, several actors had good chemistry with their co-stars and you’d imagine that the film could have had a good blooper reel. While the film’s themes are quite dark, it seems like it would have been a fun movie to make.

As for a sequel, Blink Twice doesn’t seem like the type of movie that would be screaming for another entry. Although, based on the film’s quality it wouldn’t be surprising if Zoë Kravitz made another film. Of course, that’s probably dependent on the film’s financial success, but it’s a decent start for a first-time director. As for whether or not the movie will blast off at the box office, we’ll have to wait and see.

You can see Blink Twice in theaters from August 23, 2024.
