On the other hand, Overwatch 2 discourages players who tend to cheat. When a player creates an account to play Overwatch 2 they must use a phone number. This means that once the game identifies the players who cheated will be banned from the game and to use the game they must create a whole new account based on a different phone number.

It is also worth mentioning that Overwatch 2 also records audio logs that players speak during the game. This way they can identify players to tend to create toxic environments and warn them before banning their accounts.

Overwatch 2 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
