Some dog owners like to take their pets everywhere, even into the women’s room of a clothing store in California. One woman wasn’t having it and felt the need to express just how uncomfortable she felt having an animal with her in the restroom. Posting to r/mildlyinfuriating, Justalamborghini called out the pet owner’s decision as “so freaking gross.” She questioned why this was even something someone would consider doing: “Dog culture in the USA is getting out of hand. Why are you bringing your dog to the Nordstrom restroom?”

Reddit Clapped Back, Criticizing the California Woman for Condemning Dogs in a Nordstrom Restroom
Within minutes of her posting a photo of the dog, dozens of people conversely expressed their frustration with Justalamborghini and her attitude over the matter. “A dog in the restroom is ‘freaking gross?’” one person asked with a sad emoji. A reply claimed that OP just needed something to get upset over. “Genuine question: what do you think they should do with the dog if they have to use the restroom?? Leave it somewhere?” questioned another.
“Do you really think the dog is the grossest thing in a public restroom?” remarked a third. “You are gross,” snapped a fourth. “Dogs are allowed at Nordstrom. How is this well-behaved dog affecting your well-being?” Several others added that Justalamborghini shouldn’t have been taking photos in a publicly used bathroom to begin with, let alone share them on Reddit.
On the flip side, there were a few who supported the California woman’s frustration, saying that people’s dogs do indeed not need to follow them into the restroom. “Completely agree. Dog doesn’t need to go everywhere with you,” wrote a commenter. “Nah OP I get what you’re saying – no reason to bring dogs into stores unless they’re a service dog,” chimed in a second.
Though, as the one opposing Redditor mentioned earlier, Nordstrom does allow pet dogs into its stores, granted they’re on a leash. Still, a few people could understand why letting a dog into a public bathroom might not be ideal, especially if it’s not well-trained. That said, Justalamborghini has yet to add any additional context about whether the dog actually did anything or if the pet’s owner caused trouble.
