More trouble for Jonathan Majors, his management firm Entertainment 360 has dropped him as a client after his domestic violence case against him. He was seen as an up-and-coming star after his roles in Loki and Creed III. The public relations firm The Lede Company also stopped representing Jonathan Majors. The trouble started when he was arrested on March 26 in NYC on suspicion of strangulation, assault, and harassment. His charges include two counts of assault in the third degree, aggravated harassment in the second degree, attempted assault in the third degree, and harassment in the second degree. Entertainment 360 dropping him after the domestic violence case is a big sign of Major’s career being in danger. Disney will possibly recast Kang the Conquerer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The U.S. Army pulled ads with Majors’ after his bad press. His career could be over before it started.
The Bad Press Could Be Foreshadowing the End of Jonathan Majors’ Career
The Yale School of Drama graduate has gone from stardom to infamy in a few short months. He had supporting roles in The Last Black Man in San Francisco and Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods. He got his first lead role in the HBO series Lovecraft Country as Atticus Sampson “Tic” Freeman. Jonathan Majors first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Time Keepers/He Who Remains/Victor Timely in the Disney+ series Loki. He then went on to star in Creed III alongside Michael B. Jordan to critical acclaim. These days organizations like The Lede Company and Entertainment 360 are separating themselves from the actor after the domestic violence case against him. Jonathan Majors has repeatedly said he was innocent of the charges against him in the domestic violence case against him.
He, however, is still being charged and his representation like Entertainment 360 has abandoned him at the first chance they got. The charges could be dropped down the road or he could be found innocent, but presently things are not looking good for him.
