Steam has released their latest update for their free to play MOBA, Dota 2, called Balance of Power. The update includes a new hero, called the Arc Warden. The Arc Warden, originally Dota is the newest addition to the game’s playable characters, now bringing the total to 110. Arc Warden is an agility hero and has a huge damage potential if used correctly.
Balance of Power also includes a new Arcarna set for Zeus, which replaces the base model and gives the popular hero unique effects with for some items and skills including Blink Dagger and Thundergod’s Wrath. Also new in this update is a new Desert Terrain, which was a stretch goal from The International 2015 Compendium. Steam has additionally added an Ultra Shadow Quality setting to Dota 2, which recently updated to a new engine called Reborn.
This new update include changes to the in-game menus, allowing players to see their hero stats more effectively. Players can now see their wins, losses, average gold per minute, and kills per game with better improvements to the player armory and store.

Double damage is perhaps one of the most powerful runes in the game. Until now, a new rune which buffs spellcasters called the Arcane Rune could change the game entirely. Among other numerous balances, buffs and nerfs some notable character updates have been made:
Bristleback – Added Scepter to Bristleback – Nasal Goo is no longer targeted, instead it applies Goo to all enemies around you in 600 AoE when casted
Centaur Warrunner – Return damage increased from 30/42/54/66 to 30/45/60/75%
Death Prophet – Replaced Witchcraft with a new ability, Spirit Siphon
Doom – Replaced Level Death with a new ability, Infernal Blade
Drow Ranger – Added Scepter to Drow Ranger Marksmanship now causes her attacks to splinter on the target and split into two arrows.
