E3 2018 is right around the corner, and, with it, a number of secrets that aren’t exactly secrets. Anymore at least. First, there was yesterday when a leak circulated the internet about Fortnite coming to the Nintendo Switch. Welp… It seems Nintendo is having a case of the Game of Thrones and can’t keep the leaks maintained. Earlier today, another leak got out about a certain anime game also making its way to the Nintendo Switch. Yup, Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ.

At first, this leak was seen as fake news. Come on, Nintendo first taking on Fortnite… then Dragon Ball FighterZ? Good joke. No, but seriously. The folks over at ComicBook.com did some digging and discovered that, indeed, the leak was real. Are any leaks actually fake? The ones pertaining to Game of Thrones, for instance, were pretty dang spot on.

What makes Dragon Ball FighterZ such a perfect game to be played on the Nintendo Switch, you might ask? I think the answer to that question lies within the question itself. Considering that it is a fighter game, then Nintendo Switch’s port is a perfect place for it. You then might be thinking… Why didn’t they think of this sooner? Luckily they at least thought of it.

We can expect this announcement to be confirmed at E3, which begins on June 9. Nintendo’s show is, as always, the last one on Sunday, June 12, at 12 PM. There are plenty of other games that they are planning on announcing as well. For example, Fortnite, the next installment of Super Smash Bros., Splatoon 2, and Monsters Hunter Generations Ultimate are all games you can expect coverage on from E3 2018. But, I’m assuming that’s not all Nintendo has planned for this year. If so, then you can expect a lot of coverage on Super Smash Bros., as that’s probably one of the most anticipated games of the year (already).
