Can’t wait to get your mitts on Dragon Ball FighterZ, Arc System Works’ gorgeous fighter set in the Dragon Ball Z universe? Everyone will get a chance to try to the game out before its late January release, as a short open beta was announced for the fighter today.
IGN first posted the full schedule on times and dates. Those who preorder Dragon Ball FighterZ will be able to get in on the open beta a day before everyone else. After that, the full open beta begins, which will most likely serve as a stress test for the full game release. Here is the full schedule of dates and times for the beta:
US Pacific Time:
- Early Access Buyers: January 13, 12:00 AM
- Open Beta Begins: January 14, 12:00 AM
- Open Beta Ends: January 16, 12:00 AM
US Eastern Time:
- Early Access Buyers: January 13, 3:00 AM

Dragon Ball FighterZ is an over the top fighting game that employs a 3v3 fighting system with tags and assists. It brings in many fan favorite characters from the popular anime, and developer Arc System Works has some serious anime fighting credentials to their name with the BlazBlue and Guilty Gear games.
