More bad news for any fans of anime created by Toei. The animation mogul has its hands on a lot of major shows, such as One Piece, Dragon Ball Super, and anything Digimon. However, most of those premiering anime have recently been stopped in their tracks. Due to a hack at Toei headquarters last week, production has been indefinitely slowed. And now, it seems that Dragon Ball Super has become involved in the Toei hack fiasco. Though no anime series is currently in production, a new movie was slated to release in April. Unfortunately, the Dragon Ball Super movie has been delayed until further notice.
Goku Is The Super Hero of this Dragon Ball Adventure
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is our next movie in the long line of this universe. It was originally announced last July. And a big trailer was revealed a few months ago. According to this trailer, the Red Ribbon Army has returned in the DBS age. The last time it was seen was during the Android Saga, as Dr. Gero created a dangerous batch of Androids. This is about ten years after their last appearance. So far, too much isn’t known about their plans, but they do have some dastardly new villains ready.
With the villains looking pretty cliche, it makes sense why the name is simply DBS: Super Hero. That said, Akira Toriyama himself is working on things. Thanks to this, the cast believes it will exceed expectations. Nevertheless, we are pretty in the dark about the release date now that Dragon Ball Super is part of the Toei hack. As it stands, the Dragon Ball Super movie is indefinitely delayed. Further notice on this may come at a later time. Fans will have to wait a while longer before the next saga of the Z Warriors hits screens.
