Back in the PS2 era, there was a Dragon Ball game that many players used to love. The Budokai Tenkaichi series was among the most famous and beloved ones in the community, especially the third one. This game is a fighting game that maybe new generations might not understand the hype about, but we believe it was the best Dragon Ball game ever. It included bits from the original anime, the whole Dragon Ball Z arcs, GT, and all movies. This was huge for a game from the anime. Now, after years of waiting and several other games, we’ve seen the first teaser of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 is in development

According to the teaser which is quite short, the game is in the works. There’s no confirmation of what consoles will get it or when it’ll release, but the game is happening. We all think it’ll be the next entry of the series as it shows one of Goku’s new forms. If Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 does the same as previous titles, we’ll get all existing arcs plus Super and even the new movies. This will make the game the biggest Dragon Ball game until now.

While Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has been a huge hit, it doesn’t have everything that Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 might have. The third entry of the aforementioned series had a huge roster of characters. Now, with the new game in the works, we can only expect it to be even bigger. We hope the characters don’t come in the form of paid DLC but given how times are now, we could expect that. Still, let’s not dwell on possible paid content and just get excited about the announcement of this legendary game. We hope the developers don’t take too long to release it because the day it launches, it’ll be a blast.
