Over in Checkpoint Rest Town, you’ll bump into two traveling merchants: Offulve and Everard. They both speak of the Jadeite Orb and apparently, Offulve took off with it in hopes it’ll help him escape his terrible boss. As it turns out, that’s Everard. They both want it returned, but who do you give the Jadeite Orb to in Dragon’s Dogma 2? If you look in the right place, you can give it to both!
Where to Find Jadeite Orb in Dragon’s Dogma 2
First things first: finding the Jadeite Orb in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Apparently, Offulve and Everard don’t know how to use their eyes because the Jadeite Orb is still in town. Start by:
- Visiting the shop called Ibrahim’s Scrap Store, and you’ll see it’s on full display.
- Making a forgery of the Jadeite Orb
- Giving the fake Jadeite Orb to Offulve
- And finally, giving the real Jadeite Orb to Everard
Ibrahim will gladly sell it for 7500 gold. If you have that kind of gold, then buy it, but don’t give the Jadeite Orb to anyone just yet. What if I told you you could make a tidy profit and get a good ring at the same time?
It just so happens Ibrahim makes forgeries, a feature carried over from the first Dragon’s Dogma, and he’ll make a fake for 2000 gold. That means you’ll need 9500 gold altogether.
If you’re short on gold, I suggest completing Prey for the Pack, a side quest that’s also in Checkpoint Rest Town. You’ll get 11000 gold for finding Rodge, which is more than enough to cover the cost and then some.
With the gold in hand, Ibrahim will need a day to make a replica. There’s a bench at the Sword & Staff Inn where you can doze off until the following morning.
When you have the forgery, give the Imitation Jadeite Orb to Offulve and the authentic one to Everard. Offulve awards you 3000 gold (and an elite camping kit); Everard gives you 12000 gold and the Ring of Skulduggery, but not before getting the orb authenticated by Ibrahim.
I wouldn’t bother making two forgeries and giving them to the duo like I tried doing. You’d have to bribe Ibrahim another 6000 gold to look the other way. On top of that, you’d only be making a profit of 150 gold as opposed to 5500 gold.
