Drew Barrymore Cries While Talking To Pamela Anderson
Drew Barrymore cries when she sees her struggles reflected in Pamela’s documentary and book. Drew Barrymore and Pamela Anderson had a candid and raw conversation about her recent confessions.
“When I had my kids it was like, that changed everything,” Drew says in the interview with Pamela that will air on Friday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.
Pamela agrees, telling her that mothers typically do for their kids what they won’t do for themselves.
“Are we protecting our children the way we never got to have that protection?” Drew asks.
“Definitely,” Pamela agrees. The 55-year-old disclosed that she hired a security guard to watch her children at school. She also hired a supposed assistant P.E. instructor to stop those who wanted to kidnap her boys.
The Baywatch alum tells her interviewer that she wanted her kids to have a normal life.
However, she also made those plans to protect them at the same time. “I was not going to take that chance,” she concludes.
In response, Drew breaks down crying during the interview, talking about watching Pamela’s struggles to keep her kids safe.
“At a certain point, I so understand. I get it. Don’t f**k with my kids! This is not OK,” Drew says, crying and lifting her hands in the air in anger. “They did not sign up for this. It’s hard.”
Pamela comforts Drew, telling her she will get through that process. The latter then asks the Playboy legend how she managed to survive and raise her wonderful boys.
In response, Pamela says she was careful with social media regarding keeping her sons safe.
Pamela Talks About Her Love Life
Drew Barrymore and Pamela Anderson also discuss Pamela’s confession about loving Tommy Lee.
The mother of two confessed that she struggles to love anyone who is not the father of her children. Pamela has called her ex-husband, Tommy, the love of her life.
Meanwhile, Tommy moved on after his divorce from the actress and started a new family.
“I don’t even care if I’m alone the rest of my life. I’ve experienced really wonderful, loving moments and sometimes things don’t last forever for a reason and it’s OK,” Pamela says. “It’s fine. The last year I spent alone I think has been the happiest year of my life.“
Drew compares her story once again to Pamela’s, saying she feels like the author in many ways.
Pamela shares two sons Brandon, 26, and Dylan, 25, with her ex, Tommy. On the other hand, Drew shares daughters Olive, 10, and Frankie, 8, with her ex-husband, Will Kopelman.
