Dry Drowning game is now coming on Switch in the first quarter of 2021. There is no exact date yet as to when the investigation will continue. But rest assured that this investigative thriller is landing on this hot Nintendo console anytime in Q1 next year. Players can now have an even more chilly winter season on the go with this cold, dark, and psychological game.
Coupled with a completely overhauled English localization language track, the team behind Dry Drowning also shared that they are also bringing improvements to the user interface on Switch. According to the game’s publisher’s General Manager, Daniele Falcone, the game is a perfect fit for Switch. She added that murder mystery fans would have to mull over difficult decisions and moral dilemmas wherever they may be.
“With over 150 narrative threads and three completely unique endings to unlock, players will find themselves glued to their screens longer than any show they’ve streamed in recent memory.” – Daniele Falcone, General Manager at Leonardo Interactive
Dry Drowning is a visual novel that immerses the player in a stark look at a near-future dominated by dark forces in positions of power. Players will get to play as Mordred Foley – a private detective with a shady past. In his mission, aid him to lift the lid on a serial killer on the loose and is taking out targets in this dystopian future.
Dry Drowning has a mature story and does not shy away from tackling themes such as racism, immigration, political extremism, and sexism. It has more than 150 story branches that lead to three completely different endings. Face moral choices that will impact character relationships and the game’s environment.
The game was initially released on PC and is available on Steam, GOG, Utomik, and itch.io. Interested players can download the free initial two hours of the game and go from there.
