Dying Light 2: Should You Go to Danior’s Party? Answered

Is it party time?

Dying Light 2 offers plenty of side quests in which players can get their hands dirty. Whether it be helping a little girl fend off some hostile bandits or helping a woman discover what happened to her boyfriend, brother, and friends, there’s plenty that you can take part in alongside the main story. For the first time in the story, though, during a later mission trying to get more information on Mia’s whereabouts, you’ll find your first optional objective of being able to go to Danior’s party. You may wonder what effect this has, so I’m here to help.

As you may have expected, this doesn’t have any sort of major effects on the story as a whole. While this doesn’t have too much effect on the main story though, it’s still worthwhile to head there. You get to spend some more time with some of the characters from the Fish Eye, who are arguably some of the stronger characters in the game, and you get on the good side of Danior with your gift of vodka. Though with that being said, the truth or dare game you play with Lawan and Rowe does go a bit sour. But hey, not everything can go perfectly when it comes to drinking games, right?

Now, if you’re the type of person who just wants to experience the gameplay and doesn’t care in the slightest about the story, you can safely avoid this event. It doesn’t change much, and you won’t find anything that improves the gameplay experience there. It’s just for those who like the story side of RPG experiences. Once it’s done though (or you choose not to do it) you can safely head over to Juan with the whisky and continue on your adventures!
