Dying Light 2 is a game with plenty of side content, not to mention a heap of variety. Whether it be through rather in-depth side quests, windmills needing a flick of a switch (and an obscene amount of jumps), or simply handling a strong infected enemy, there’s no end to the amount of side content you can partake in. One particular bit of side content that some players have been having trouble handling is during the side quest “The First Biomarker” where a safe contains the first biomarker you need to complete the quest. If you’re having trouble as well, no need to worry. In this guide, we’ll tell you just how to get the First Biomarker safe code in Dying Light 2!

How to Get The First Biomarker Safe Code in Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 The First Biomarker Safe Code

Once you’ve made it to the safe itself, you’re looking for a small envelope inside that’s titled “Safe Code” conveniently, and contains three riddles you must solve to get the three parts of the combination. These are also found above, should you be having trouble finding the envelope itself.

The first part of the riddle reads “What becomes smaller when you turn it upside down?” which in this case would be 9, as turning it upside down makes it six and is smaller.

The second part of the riddle reads “An odd number – take away a letter and it becomes even.” Now, before you sit here trying to find the name of another number in all odd numbers, the number you’re looking for is 7. This is because when you take away the s, it becomes the word “even” and thus makes it become even. A little bit of a play on words, if you will.

The final part of the riddle reads “A little girl goes to the store and buys one dozen eggs. As she is going home, all but three eggs break. How many eggs are left unbroken?”. The way this reads makes it seem as though there’s a trick going on here, but the final number is in fact 3.

Once you bring all those numbers together, you find out that the safe code is 9 – 7 – 3. Once the code is inputted, the safe will open, and you’ll have yourself the First Biomarker to complete the quest in Dying Light 2!
