Dying Light 2 features many secrets ranging from extremely helpful, such as the Korek Charm, to incredibly silly, like the finger gun weapon. Needless to say, if you find yourself wanting more after finishing the main story, you’ll have more than enough. One specific secret you can find has you ride a hoverboard through a quick course, but can be quite obscure to find. If you’re having trouble getting it, then no need to worry. In this guide, we’ll explain exactly where to find the hoverboard in Dying Light 2!
Where to Find the Hoverboard in Dying Light 2
The first step towards finding yourself the hoverboard is to head to the east end of the Central Loop, more specifically the Saint Paul Island district. If you haven’t made it to the Central Loop, you’ll need to do so before getting here. Once you do make it though, you’re looking to get into the bell tower of the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle. At the bottom of this tower will be a cord spot while a floor below the top will be a socket, which if you can put two and two together, you’ll need to connect up. The connection can be found above if you’re confused.
Once done, head a floor above the socket through an open window to find your first piece of the hoverboard. Once you grab it, the game will prompt you to open up Survival Sense to find the path to the next part. If you find yourself stuck when it comes to following this path, there’s no need to worry.
Should you get lost, you’ll want to head to the bridge at the southeast corner of the Muddy Heights district. On the right hand side of the bridge and towards the middle, you’ll locate the second hoverboard piece.
The final piece can be found in a trunk in the southwest corner of the Muddy Heights district. Feel free to use the above image for reference. Once you grab it, you’ll be able to play a new minigame where you use the hoverboard to complete a course. Be sure to go for the best time as, sadly, the hoverboard is only useable during the challenge. Either way, have fun sliding all over the place!
